On the Internet you will find plenty of invitations to webinars that cover all possible topics – marketing, business, sales, dietetics, fashion, investments, etc.
Why are there more and more of them? It’s simple – well-thought-out and organized webinars bring many benefits – not only to participants, but also to organizers.
First of all, it is worth noting that the increase in the number of webinars organized in Poland and around the world does not necessarily mean that there is no place for you and your company anymore – on the contrary – their popularity is a sign that they work, so it is definitely worth testing this form in your company as well.
Why have webinars become popular?
All because of the pandemic. Communication with customers in 2020 was difficult or impossible, so business owners and sellers decided to use the opportunity to present their offers online.
What’s important – despite returning to life without restrictions, customers still want to take part in webinars, and the popularity of this form of communication (compared to 2019) has increased by over 300%*
In 2021 on the platform ClickMeeting almost 2 million events were organized, attended by over 26 million people*.

It is worth noting that webinars can be both free and paid – the highest profit from one webinar organized in 2021 was as much as PLN 108,000!*
What is a webinar?
Hello, hello, but what is a webinar anyway? A large number of people who work on the Internet on a daily basis have taken part in at least one event of this type, but for those who are just taking their first steps in the world of internet marketing, we present a short definition:
Webinar (also known as: webinar) is an online seminar, i.e. a live meeting between the speaker and the participants. It is carried out using virtual tools and allows for two-way communication, despite the often significant distances between participants. The webinar serves informational or educational purposes, and marketing activities are treated as a background (although they constitute an important element).
The webinar can be conducted by a “talking head” or supplemented with a multimedia presentation. Participants can speak in the chat and comment or ask questions on an ongoing basis.
5 main benefits that organizing webinars will bring you
Organizing webinars is not just a current trend. Webinars bring real benefits to your company and are a tool that is worth implementing permanently into your marketing strategy. Why? Read more…

1. Presentation of your product or service
By definition, a webinar has an educational or informational function, but this does not prevent you from presenting your product or service at the same time.
- Are you selling a smart lawn mower? During the webinar, show how you can configure it using the application to increase the efficiency of use and reduce blade wear.
- Do you sell a series of stationary training courses? Let the webinar be an opportunity to present one of the lecturers and his knowledge.
- Do you sell ticketing online (like our specialists from evoblack)? During the webinar, you can show how to easily add tickets and collect customer data.
2. Building the image of an expert
This is probably one of the most important and underrated benefits.
During the webinar, participants (i.e. your potential clients) can get to know you and your company – hear about your experience and receive proof that cooperation with your company means cooperation with specialists and experts in a given field.
Thanks to this, the customer builds trust in your brand and is much more willing to cooperate, even if the competition offers lower prices.
3. Collecting opinions of potential customers
Have you ever asked your customers for their opinion about your product or service? A webinar is an ideal opportunity to ask how to change or improve the product/service offered so that they not only buy more often, but also pay more and recommend us further.
You will gain valuable information and will not spend a penny on focus groups bringing together your potential customers – the target group, and your customers will appreciate that you take their needs into account.
4. The opportunity to answer questions that block the purchase
You probably know the price lists for radio airtime or a square meter of billboard in your city – and you know that they are certainly not cheap. What’s more, you can’t check who the ad reached and whether anyone was interested in it at all.
During a webinar, it’s much easier – if participants don’t understand or have additional questions, they can ask them in the chat, and you can answer them immediately or at the end of your presentation. Thanks to this, you will not only immediately clarify any doubts, but you will also be able to see what questions other advertising materials should answer – e.g. a folder, a product description on the website or a promotional video.
5. Building a contact database
A webinar is not only an opportunity to present your knowledge and the quality of the products and services offered. It is also an opportunity to expand your potential customer base.
Each person who participated in the webinar (not counting the competition who sometimes watches) is a potential customer. By participating in the event, they expressed interest in the offer – even if they did not make a purchase immediately after the webinar.
Webinar management tools such as ClickMeeting or GetResponse (there are more, but these are the ones we use and recommend) allow you to download data about webinar participants.
Thanks to this data, you can not only get to know your customer better (maybe your target group is completely different than you thought), but also remind you about your offer after some time.
How to do it? Download the database from the webinar program and use it in advertising on Facebook, Google or by sending an e-mail about an ongoing promotion for a product or service that was presented during the webinar.

This is just a short description of the benefits that webinars can bring to your company. Of course, it is worth remembering that the topics of webinars and the way they are organized should be tailored to your products/services and your capabilities.
